We Just Wrapped Founder University 🎓

We Just Wrapped Founder University 🎓

A few weeks ago, we quietly finished Founder University.

No big announcement.
No victory lap.
Just a lot of notes, rewrites, and moments where we had to pause and ask ourselves some uncomfortable questions about what we’re actually building.

Founder University wasn’t about hype or growth hacks. It was about clarity. About stripping ideas down to their core and being honest about what creates real value for users.

And honestly, it’s already changed how we’re building TalleFlow.

One of the biggest takeaways for us was realizing that community isn’t something you “add later.”

We’ve always believed TalleFlow should feel more like a network than a tool. But the program forced us to ask a tougher question.

If the community disappeared tomorrow, would the product still make sense?

That question stuck with us.

It pushed us to rethink how referrals work, how trust is built between creatives, and how collaboration should feel inside the product. Community isn’t a tab or a feed. It’s infrastructure. So we’ve been designing TalleFlow with that in mind from the ground up.

Another big lesson was around features.

Creatives don’t want more buttons.
They don’t want more toggles.
They definitely don’t want another tool that takes a weekend to set up.

What they want is clarity.

Founder University reinforced something we’ve seen again and again. If something needs a long tutorial to explain why it exists, it probably shouldn’t exist. That’s pushed us to simplify onboarding, remove unnecessary steps, and focus on workflows that feel obvious the first time you use them.

Less setup fatigue. More “oh wow, that just worked.”

We also spent a lot of time thinking about early users.

Not as beta testers, but as culture-setters.

Instead of chasing the biggest possible audience, we’ve been intentionally building with creatives who care about collaboration, referrals, and long-term growth. The kind of people who want to build sustainable businesses, not just book the next gig.

That choice shapes everything. From what we prioritize to how fast we move.

Another thing the program really reinforced for us is that building in public isn’t marketing. It’s accountability.

Sharing progress isn’t about hype. It’s about staying honest.

So we’ve started being more open about why we ship certain features, why we pause others, and what tradeoffs we’re making along the way. TalleFlow is better when it’s built with creatives, not in isolation.

Since finishing Founder University, a few things have become really clear for us.

We’re being more opinionated.
We’re saying no more often.
And we’re designing everything around reducing friction instead of adding flexibility for flexibility’s sake.

The program didn’t tell us what to build. It taught us how to decide what not to build.

If you’re a creative who’s ever:

  • abandoned a CRM after a week
  • relied on chaotic Facebook groups for referrals
  • or felt like software just doesn’t understand how you actually work

That’s exactly why TalleFlow exists.

Founder University sharpened our focus, but the mission stayed the same. Build tools that respect creative energy, reduce operational drag, and help creatives grow together instead of alone.

We’re moving forward with more intention, deeper collaboration features, and a growing group of early creatives shaping TalleFlow alongside us.

No hype.
No noise.
Just progress.

If you’re building a creative business and want to be part of what comes next, we’d love to have you along for the ride 💚
